Set up in 2016 by Dr. Becky Wills, BW Tutoring (previously BGP Tutoring) provides support for students studying Maths and Chemistry.   

My tutoring career started while I was working on my PhD in Chemistry from the University of Warwick. During my PhD I took on several teaching responsibilities including running tutorials and experiments for undergraduates, teaching and training students in theory and experimental methods, and participating in the departments's Outreach programme for school students where we demonstrated how chemistry is applied in the real world.

I have been a private tutor for 11 years and have helped over 300 students during that time. I am trained as a mentor after participating in a community project that provided support for secondary school students, and so my approach is to provide a comfortable and encouraging academic environment for students to work on areas they find challenging. Since the Covid pandemic this has become more important than ever and I am sensitive to students' wellbeing.

Face-to-face tuition is available at my office on Coten End, Warwick. (Unfortunately I cannot travel to students' homes).  I am a member of the Tutors' Association and I hold an enhanced DBS certificate which is available for inspection on request.
