About BW Tutoring

Set up in 2016 by Dr. Becky Wills, BW Tutoring provides support for students studying GCSE Maths and A Level Chemistry.  


From October 2025, I will be providing online tuition sessions only. These sessions are designed for students who are preparing to sit their Maths GCSE or Chemistry A Level. Sessions are focused on using past papers to practise exam technique and revise content, both of which are necessary for achieving higher grades. 


I have been a private tutor for 11 years and have helped over 300 students during that time. My background is in Chemistry, in which I have a PhD, and during which I was responsible for tutoring undergraduate students. I am trained as a mentor and my approach is to provide a comfortable and encouraging academic environment for students to work on areas they find challenging.


 I am a member of the Tutors' Association and I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

Current Availability
I have a limited number of online sessions still available on Monday evenings.

Subjects

I currently provide support for:
  • A Level Chemistry
  • GCSE Maths
Please note I do not tutor Biology or Physics.


Fees

£30 (45 minute session)

Sessions are paid for in advance by bank transfer in half term blocks.


Cancellation policy - sessions are paid for at the time of booking.  If a student cannot make their session and, providing 24 hours notice is given, the session will be rescheduled.
